Again this year, The Denver Basket Brigade is partnering with Inter-Faith Community Services to create another successful food basket delivery event.  Our combined efforts create more value for the families and residents in need and will create more impact for our generous contributors in many, many ways.  We hope you can join in!!

Donate Basket Items: Deadline: Friday, Nov. 11th:  To simplify this year's effort and to streamline the effort even more, we are asking for contributions of basket items, not full pre-made baskets, to be ready for the Basket Building Party (see Below).  No need to sign up, just bring the items on the list below to one of the dropoff locations, below, by Friday, November 11th! 

Basket Items Needed: 

  • Canned Goods:  Peas, Corn, Green Beans, Black Olives, Evaporated Milk, Pumpkin Pie Filling, Juice, Peanut Butter, Tuna, Canned Fruit, French Fried Onions, Yams.

  • Dry Goods:  Packaged Turkey Gravy, Turkey Stuffing, Marshmallows, Coffee, Sugar, Pie Crust, Cookies, Candy, Instant Oatmeal, Mac & Cheese, Tuna Helper, Powdered Milk.

  • $6 Grocery Store (King Soopers, Safeway, Walmart) Gift Card for a Turkey.

  • Basket Building Party: Tuesday, November 15th, 6pm - 9pm, at Inter-Faith, Map and Directions on this page: Come join us for the Basket Building Party!!  We're going to build about 1000 baskets in a couple of hours. Meet us at Inter-Faith Community Services, at 6pm, to volunteer.  We're going to make a party out of it.  All the baskets will be built this night, and it happens fast, so be on time if you want to join us!!  Kids love it, so bring them along too!!  Please Click Here to sign up.

  • Basket Delivery Drivers:  Saturday, Nov. 19th, 7:30am, at Inter-Faith, Map and Directions on this page:  We need 30 drivers to deliver baskets to seniors. The first 30 cars to sign up will participate.  Each car will deliver 3-4 baskets.  Please Click Here to sign up.
